The United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a Special Airworthiness Market Survey Certificate to BETA Technologies (Burlington, VT) to conduct flight operations with its ALIA eVTOL aircraft (A250). The certificate is the first of its kind and will allow for A250 aircraft to conduct flight operations with operators and participants in order to conduct market surveys. In 2025, BETA raised over USD1 billion in its initial public offering (IPO).
