Australian Corporate Jet Centres (Melbourne Essendon) is reintroducing rotary-wing operations following the addition of a 2022-built Leonardo Helicopters AW109SP, VH-BRB (msn 22437). Based in Melbourne, the aircraft has yet to be added to ACJC's AOC and will be deployed on charter services. “ACJC previously operated two AW109s. Demand for helicopter services is growing, and we decided to reintroduce operations with this AW109SP,” CEO Sam Iliades said.
ACJC further operates a range of fixed-wing aircraft across the piston, turboprop, and jet-powered segments, offering executive charter, group travel, and air ambulance services. Iliades added that further expansion of the rotary-wing segment will depend on market demand.
