Private aviation platform Blade, a subsidiary of eVTOL manufacturer Joby Aviation (Monterey/Carmel), is resuming by-the-seat operations between New York and South Florida in partnership with Part 135-certified operator Aero (United States of America). Marketed as BladeONE, services will begin on November 19, connecting White Plains with West Palm Beach President Donald J. Trump International and Miami Opa-Locka until May 2, 2027. Southbound operations will run every Thursday and Friday, with northbound services on Sunday and Monday, using 16-seat E135s, of which Aero operates four.

“BLADEone sits squarely in the white space between a USD1,000 first class seat and a USD25,000 private jet charter. Given the significant migration of New Yorkers to South Florida, as well as the increase in business travel between the two geographies, there has never been a better time to reintroduce our service,” said Rob Wiesenthal, founder and CEO of Blade. Blade and Aero partnered during summer 2026 on by-the-seat services between Los Angeles and East Hampton.
