British Airways (BA, London Heathrow) faces a lawsuit from Sabre Corporation in the US Northern District Court of Texas over the airline's alleged failure to reimburse the United Kingdom's Digital Services Tax (DST) payments. Sabre claims the airline refuses to recognise the DST as a reimbursable tax under their 1991 services agreement, which covers all taxes incurred through their reservation systems partnership. Sabre paid USD453,863 in DST in 2024 on British Airways-related revenue, and invoiced the airline in August 2025, but claims the airline refuses reimbursement. British Airways declined to comment on matters in litigation.
