Barrick Gold (Toronto Pearson) placed an order for one DHC-8-Q400 on June 16. The aircraft will support the mining operations of Barrick’s Reko Diq Mining Company (RDMC) in Balochistan, Pakistan.

“Having the Dash 8-400 as part of our fleet ensures safe, reliable, and efficient transportation for our personnel and equipment,” said John Henderson, director of aviation for Barrick Gold Corporation.

The delivery timeline has not been disclosed.

Barrick Gold currently owns one GV and one G550 in Canada, both operated privately. ch-aviation Commercial Aviation Aircraft Data shows the corporation operates multiple aircraft across its various mining projects around the world, but no DHC-8-Q400s.
