Valo Aviation (VLW) has announced the addition of a first Falcon 8X to its air operator's certificate (AOC). The company has also confirmed plans to develop a new 6,000-square-metre hangar at Bahrain International.

The trijet, configured for up to 14 passengers and available for charter, was registered with Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs (BCAA) on June 17, becoming the first Dassault Aviation aircraft to be operated under Valo Aviation's AOC. "This reflects our ambition to build a world-class AOC. We are proud to expand our fleet with a leading aircraft type," said Hannah Hakamo, chief executive officer at Valo Aviation.

Although the jet's registration and manufacturer serial number remain undisclosed, ch-aviation research shows that Valo Aviation has managed a Falcon 8X registered in San Marino as T7-BSF (msn 423) since late 2023, which has been parked at Bahrain International since June 13 following a flight from Dubai World Central.

This newly added Falcon 8X joins a 13.5-year-old G550 with which Valo Aviation secured its AOC in late 2024, becoming Bahrain's first business jet charter company. At the time, Hakamo revealed ambitions to manage up to 15 aircraft within two years.

Valo Aviation also signed a memorandum of understanding with Bahrain Airport Company to build a new 6,000-square-metre facility at Bahrain International, expected to be operational by the end of 2026. The hangar will accommodate aircraft up to bizliner size and provide 24/7 support for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
