Supernova Airlines (P7, Kyiv Boryspil) has obtained a foreign air operator's certificate (FAOC) from the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL), authorising it to operate non-scheduled cargo flights to Colombo International using B737-800 aircraft. As ch-aviation previously reported, Sri Lankan cargo start-up WEAIR plans to wet lease B737-800(BDSF) UR-NPA (msn 34970) from Supernova to launch cargo operations under the Ukrainian carrier's air operator's certificate while pursuing its own Sri Lankan certification. CAASL confirmed in October 2026 that WEAIR remains in the pre-application phase for its own AOC.
