United Airlines (UA, Chicago O'Hare) has completed the replacement of its Guam International-based B737-800 fleet with ten B737-8s, ahead of its announced schedule, the company said in a press release.
The carrier first unveiled its Guam-based B737 MAX aircraft in March this year. The aircraft were subsequently introduced on routes throughout the region, serving 15 destinations.
In addition to introducing the B737-8 to Guam, United has made a series of investments in the unincorporated territory of the United States, including refreshing the check-in lobby at Guam International Airport, to provide a consistent, modern experience for customers.
ch-aviation fleet data shows United Airlines operates 123 B737-8 and 141 B737-800s among its 1,146-strong fleet.
