Adding widebody freighters is in line with the company's plans to draw on the natural advantage of Uzbekistan's position on the New Silk Route linking east and west, founder and CEO Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov previously told ch-aviation in an exclusive interview.
My Freighter first began operating in 2019, acting as a general cargo agent for Uzbekistan Airways. It acquired its first aircraft, a B747-200CSCD, in 2022, before adding its first in-house B767-300ER(BCF) a year later. It launched scheduled European cargo operations in August 2025.
The development comes shortly after holding company Centrum Holding confirmed it plans to go ahead with a long-awaited initial public offering (IPO) in London in the first quarter of 2027 as operations in Europe and Asia continue to expand.
