Air Koryo (JS, Pyongyang) resumed North Korean domestic flights between Pyongyang and Wonsan on July 23, 2026, operating 2x weekly using its An-148-100 fleet. Air Koryo previously operated regular Pyongyang-Wonsan flights in 2018. Its An-148s have more recently been used mainly on international services to China and Russia. It remains unclear whether the flights are a regular scheduled service or a seasonal operation. The resumption to Wonsan comes after the opening of a new seaside resort in the city in July 2025.
