Akasa Air (QP, Mumbai International) has suspended flights from Jewar Noida International to Navi Mumbai International and Bengaluru International shortly after launching the two routes, the Hindustan Times newspaper reported.

The airline is expected to resume both routes on October 1, 2026, according to ch-aviation schedules data. Akasa Air continues to serve Noida from Mumbai International, with filed schedules showing 2x daily flights for most of August 2026 and daily operations continuing through September.

"At Akasa Air, we continuously optimise our network and schedules based on factors such as customer demand, seasonality, operational efficiencies, and aircraft deployment," a spokesperson told the newspaper.

The airline launched daily services to Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai on June 16, one day after commercial operations began at the new airport, using its B737-8 fleet. It began serving Mumbai International from Noida on July 1.

Akasa Air and IndiGo Airlines became the airport’s launch operators after Air India Express shelved plans to begin serving Noida. Controlled by Tata Sons, the carrier reportedly decided against establishing another operation near its existing Delhi International base.

According to ch-aviation data, IndiGo remains the largest operator out of Noida, with links to 16 destinations. Lufthansa Cargo has also filed schedules to begin cargo flights from Frankfurt International in September.
