PeakJet, a brand of Swiss aviation and technology company Peak Plus AG, expects to launch by-the-seat services out of Zurich to Málaga, Nice, and Palma de Mallorca beginning August 1, using Legacy 650 aircraft operated under the AOC of VistaJet (Germany). The company told ch-aviation that new destinations are under consideration and that securing an AOC is not part of the business model.

“PeakJet will operate three weekly services to Nice on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, as well as one weekly service to Palma de Mallorca on Saturdays and one weekly service to Málaga on Sundays,” a spokesperson told ch-aviation. Additional destinations remain under consideration and will be announced in due course.

All routes will be operated using Legacy 650 aircraft operated under VistaJet Germany's AOC. “We're developing a digital marketplace platform that connects travellers with flight services operated by independent, licensed AOC operators. Securing an own AOC is not part of our business model,” the spokesperson added.

VistaJet Germany operates a fleet of fourteen Legacy 650s, configured for up to 13 passengers. PeakJet's website advertises a maximum capacity of 12 seats per flight.

Headquartered in Risch-Rotkreuz, Peak Plus was founded in 2024. Among the founders and board are several experienced aviation executives, including Peter Baumgartner, former chief executive of Etihad Airways, Gianni Tronza, former Etihad Airways general manager for Switzerland, and Daniel Friedli and Stephan Bergamin, both of whom held finance and development roles at Swiss.

PeakJet will become the second company offering semi-private services out of Zurich, following Travelcoup. The latter operates an E135 and an E145 under the AOC of Germany-based Arcus Air, which it acquired in late 2024. Travelcoup connects Swiss and German cities with leisure destinations in Southern Europe, including Nice and Palma de Mallorca.
