The European Commission has announced that it approved an Airbus-Air France-KLM joint venture, which aims to combine the two companies’ A350 component maintenance services worldwide. The regulator said there were no competition concerns in the case, and added that it expects entry barriers for new component maintenance service providers to decrease as the A350 platform matures.
