Jazeera Airways (J9, Kuwait) has renewed banking facilities worth KWD46.83 million Kuwaiti dinars (USD152.5 million), including guarantees, credit lines, a revolving loan, forex, and overdraft facilities, saying the move will not affect its current financial position. Of this, KWD28.69 million (USD93.2 million) has been utilised, the airline declared in a disclosure to the Boursa Kuwait stock exchange. Separately, Kuwait's Boodai Reliance Real Estate, the investment arm of Boodai Corporation, announced it had completed the acquisition of 16.65% of Jazeera Airways’ share capital, representing 36,639,089 shares. The transaction is still subject to regulatory clearing.
