Air Botswana (BP, Gaborone) has said that its new board, led by former Air Serbia CEO Dane Kondić and appointed in May, has begun a thorough review of the airline’s governance, compliance, financial controls, and operations to restore stability and oversight. The board in June suspended then general manager Lulu Ratsebotsa, whose contract was terminated in October, despite the Botswana High Court withdrawing disciplinary charges against her. The court also ruled that two national intelligence officers were unlawfully arrested while investigating alleged procurement irregularities and mismanagement at the airline. Air Botswana has declined to comment on "specific allegations or ongoing matters at this time".
