Sun PhuQuoc Airways (9G, Hanoi Gia Lam), a new Vietnamese leisure-focused carrier under Sun Group, launched commercial flight operations on its first domestic route on November 1, 2025.
According to the airline, its first revenue service was operated between Hanoi Noi Bai International and Phu Quoc. ADS-B data shows it deployed an A321-200, VN-A280 (msn 8592), on the flight.
The carrier is operating three domestic routes, which it said will remain its only scheduled services through the end of 2025:
- Phu Quoc-Hanoi Noi Bai International (3x daily)
 - Phu Quoc-Ho Chi Minh City (3x daily)
 - Hanoi Noi Bai International-Ho Chi Minh City (3x daily)

Flights are operated with a mix of A321-200 and A321-200NX aircraft, with the latter expected to become predominant as additional units are delivered.
From March 2026, Sun PhuQuoc Airways plans to add Phu Quoc-Da Nang and Phu Quoc-Nha Trang Cam Ranh, followed later in the year by international services from Phu Quoc to South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore Changi, Hong Kong International, and India.
The airline currently operates two A321-200s and one A321-200NX, with plans to expand to eight aircraft by year-end 2025.
