Nigeria’s National Hajj Commission (NAHCON) has re-engaged four airlines, Air Peace, MaxAir (Nigeria), UmzaXpress, and Saudi Arabia's flynas, as well as two cargo firms, Cargo Zeal Technologies and Koala Investment, which handled Hajj operations in 2025, to again serve in 2026. NAHCON said the decision avoids delays in meeting Saudi Arabia’s deadlines for airline approvals. The carriers performed well in 2025, it said, and will be screened again by NAHCON's 2026 Hajj Aviation Monitoring Committee for compliance, airworthiness, and tax clearance before contracts are extended.
