Flybondi (FO, Córdoba International) has announced it will wet-lease ten aircraft for the southern hemisphere summer season between December 2025 and March 2026.
The ultra-low-cost carrier will bring in A320-200s and B737-800s, sourcing them from Avion Express Brasil, Avion Express, and ETF Airways, the company confirmed to ch-aviation. It did not disclose how many it will source from each party. Seven aircraft will be based in Buenos Aires, three in Córdoba.
ADS-B data shows that the airline currently operates fourteen in-house B737-800s, plus one wet-leased A320-200, PR-MLD (msn 3601), from Avion Express Brasil.
It is the second year in a row Flybondi is wet-leasing narrowbody jets for its summer season, taking advantage of the countercyclical opportunities from Europe. In 2024, it sourced aircraft from Avion Express and Spain’s AlbaStar.
ch-aviation data shows Avion Express has fifteen A320-200s and one A321-200 in its fleet. The Brazilian subsidiary so far has just the one A320, having just launched operations in 2025. Avion Express Malta (4X, Malta International) operates a fleet of thirty-eight A320-200s and one A321-200. Croatia’s ETF Airways, meanwhile, operates three B737-800s.
“Adding ten aircraft for the summer season will allow us to increase flights by 50% compared to 2024 and carry 56% more passengers. We aim for 2.8 million people to travel on our network," said Flybondi CEO Mauricio Sana.
