BermudAir and Skyport, the operator of Bermuda airport, have reached an undisclosed agreement resolving a dispute over unpaid airport fees since 2023.

As reported by the Bermudian newspaper The Royal Gazette, the back payments totalled millions of dollars. The carrier said in a statement: “This resolution allows us to move forward with clarity and focus. Our priority remains building a strong, sustainable airline that delivers long-term benefits for Bermuda and its people.”

Skyport confirmed to the daily that a payment plan agreement had been reached, without revealing further details.

In July, Skyport initiated legal action against BermudAir after a year of “unsuccessfully attempting to work” with the carrier. The airport operator said that the amount owed in fee concessions was roughly BMD700,000 Bermudian dollars (the same amount in USD) at the time.

BermudAir operates a fleet of two E175s and two E190s.
