Iran Aseman Airlines (EP, Tehran Mehrabad) says it won three unspecified legal cases in Iran which allowed it to take ownership of three Rolls-Royce Tay 650-15 engines for its F100s, one CFM International CFM56 engine for a B737, and one unidentified B737. The airline also settled a potentially expensive litigation in which it was on the hook for AED104 million Emirati dirhams (USD28.3 million). Spokesperson Seyyed Mohammad Javad Razavi underlined that the settling of the three cases will be instrumental in the airline pursuing its fleet growth and renewal plan, though he did not disclose any further details.
ch-aviation data shows that Iran Aseman Airlines operates five A320-200s, one A340-300, two ATR72-200s, two ATR72-500s, three B737-400s, nine F100s, and one Falcon 20E. Only two B737s and two F100s are currently active.
