The Bulgarian Civil Aviation Administration (BGCAA) has revoked the operating licence of Jet Sky Airways (JK, Sofia). The aviation authority issued the order to annul the licence, BG 1008-45, on May 9, citing what it called the airline's non-compliance with the terms set out in its air operator's certificate (BG 70).

However, the exact reason for the authority's decision remains unknown. ch-aviation asked both the BGCAA and Jet Sky Airways for comment but they were not immediately available.

As of April 2, Jet Sky Airways held a valid AOC. More recent records are not available publicly.

The Bulgarian carrier obtained its operating licence and AOC at the end of 2023. It then launched charter operations out of Pristina on behalf of local tour operator Air Tiketa, sourcing its aircraft to GoTo Fly, an Italian virtual carrier.

The company currently has no active aircraft in its fleet. It previously operated two B737-400s, 9H-RUN (ex-LZ-PRS, msn 24686) and LZ-CRI (msn 28832). According to the ch-aviation Commercial Aviation Aircraft Data module, 9H-RUN is now in the fleet of 4 Airways and currently inactive, while LZ-CRI is operated by GP Aviation.
